ROYAL ACADEMY SUMMER EXHIBITION (2006 BBC2 TV Production)
In 2005 I was approached by BBC2 TV to be one of the “case-study artists” they were intending to feature in the first of their planned series of programmes about the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.
Working exclusively on location as I do, I explained that I was already committed to a winter expedition to the Scottish Highlands in order to produce work for submission to the R A. They thought this would be ideal material and, having filmed me making preparations in my workshop, arranged a rendezvous in Glen Nevis on 24th January 2006. We spent three days (and one night) filming and this edited footage is the result of their time with me.
